Getting good ATV tires is mainly just a matter of knowing what you need to have for your vehicle.  Heavy tread ATV tireswill usually be best for your off-road adventures.  The skinnier sleek ATV tires are better suited for racing and not so good at muddier off course areas. Heavier treaded ATV tires provide much better grip and traction in areas that skinnier are unable to function properly.  Skinnier ATV tires, on the other hand, allow for faster speeds on a track.  This is not the case with heavy tread ATV tires that struggle on a track.
